STUDENT BEHAVIOUR
The success of a WYLD course is built on the foundation of its participants. They must be willing to participate, trust, and communicate with each other in order to create a positive experience. WYLD is not a camp for youth with motivational or behavioural issues. We reserve the right to dismiss any student who is seen as being a detriment to the group and is a safety risk or medical concern. The use and /or possession of tobacco, non-prescription drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. As well, we will not keep students on course who are determined to leave. Any of these situations will result in the student being removed from course and transported back home at their own expense. No refund will be given for early dismissals.

ENROLL NOW!
If you have picked a course and are ready to apply, please download the registration form which includes a letter from the WYLD Coordinator and a student questionnaire, Also, please visit the COURSE CALENDAR page to read the description of the course you are interested in. Registrants are accepted on a first come first serve basis, and therefore courses can fill up fast. Registration forms can be faxed to us at 250.286.6010.

If you have more questions, want help deciding which course is right for you, or would like to check availability, please call us at 250.286.3122 and speak to one of our friendly staff.

West coast beachesWHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once you have enrolled in a WYLD course you will receive a Trip Information Package. The information will include: detailed course description, equipment list, student questionnaire, medical and acknowledgement of risk and consent forms, travel info and drop off and pick up details. Please complete the student questionnaire, medical and consent forms and return at least two weeks before the camp begins. These forms must be returned to us before your child's arrival in order to participate in the course.

REFUND POLICY
The 25% deposit is not refundable as of the time of registration. Students leaving the course after its start date will not be granted a refund. Our course costs are set at the beginning of the season and are based on a per group basis rather than per person. This makes it impossible for us to recover our costs if a student leaves, even if it is a result of illness or injury. We recommend that cancellation insurance be purchased for protection against unforeseen cancellation.

STUDENT DROP OFFS AND PICK UPS
All students will be picked up in Campbell River on the day of course start. On the final day they can either be dropped off at the same location or picked up from Strathcona Park Lodge by their parents. More specific details will be included in the Trip Info Package.

GROUP GEAR
All technical and group gear needed for the trip will be supplied (Tents, ropes, stoves etc.). The students will be responsible for bringing personal gear such as sleeping bag, hiking boots, backpack, and good rain gear. A detailed equipment list that is specific to your trip will be included in the Trip Info Package.
