All of our WYLD instructors are professionals in their field. For them, outdoor education is full time, year round job. They love the outdoors and they love to teach and share their passiInstructorson for adventure. Our instructors are excellent role models, and are chosen, not only for their high level of technical skill, but because they are smart, energetic, caring leaders who have the ability to work with and care for youth. It is their zest for life and the outdoors that helps make WYLD an experience of a lifetime.

Safety is our first priority. Ongoing staff training, highly qualified instructors and low Instructor/student ratios contribute to our exceptional safety record. They all have, as a minimum, wilderness first aid, CPR, and life guarding certifications and most have much more. Other qualifications include: WKABC Whitewater Instructor, BCRCA Canoe Instructor, ACKSG and SKGA Sea Kayak Guides, Swiftwater Rescue Technician.

Our ratios of Instructors to Students are 2:10, the smallest in the industry. This allows more interaction between instructor and student, resulting in a safer, more rewarding experience.
